LATi Bar: Cyber hacks, Cyber Security, GDPR and Cyber Essentials

This LATi Bar we will be discussing cyber hacks, cyber security at a device level, as well as cyber essentials – and how this is relevant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Ian McKellar of Kudos Technology has been working in the Document Management industry since 1991 and has worked for and with two of the largest players in this market, Xerox and HP.
His background is primarily sales and marketing, but in recent years has become very passionate about security within an MPS contract, and his keen to educate people and organisations on the importance of this subject, particularly in the new world governed by the GDPR.

Mike Petty of Loughborough Surface Analysis (LSA Ltd) will share what he has learnt about Cyber Essentials, and why it is important for tech and scientific businesses to get cyber essentials certification, and ensure supply chain is certified too.
